QUICK-TRIP^TM is designed to operate with our AC-PRO^TM trip unit retrofit kits for air circuit breakers to provide a safe, fast and reliable means of reducing arcflash incident energy (cal/cm²) levels, heat energy from an arc blast, during maintenance period.

Turning the QUICK-TRIP^TM switch ON enables two additional settings in the AC-PRO^TM trip unit that can be preprogrammed to provide faster tripping times in the event of a fault; resulting in lower incident energy levels. Lower incident energy levels mean a lower Risk Hazard Category and consequently, lower PPE requirements according to NFPA 70E
